Midland Air Service Experts was excited to participate in the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has raised money for this incredible event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit funding research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial support for families.
Midland Air Service Experts gave $1000 to this incredible cause and the nationwide event has collected over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her dad’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s riding group gets involved every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” You can see Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The big-hearted motorcycle group may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air loves being involved in their community and sponsoring wonderful events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To find out more about how you can get involved and support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
